Summer Packing Tips
What to Pack for a Summer Weekend (Without Overpacking)
Style and color don’t have to mean bulky baggage - use these clever Kerr-Chief packing tips to keep your look and luggage feeling light this summer!
1 Pareo - Wear it as a wrap-around skirt with a classic button down or tank top to dinner on the first night, then hit the beach or pool the next day and use it as a cover up or lounge cover.
1 Cashmere Wrap - It might be hot outside, but it’s always cold indoors or on the plane, so don’t be caught without that perfectly cozy extra layer.
1 Silk Scarf - Tied as a top and paired with flowy pants for a casual dinner or shorts for a fun lunch, then folded in half and tied neatly over your hair to keep your blow-dry fresh in the breeze the next day.
1 Bandana - Perfect for any outdoor adventure fashioned as a hands-free bag on your belt loops or tied around your neck to keep the sun off.
1 Twilly - For a new look to an old purse or piece of luggage, just tie a twilly around the handle then dress up your ponytail for the ride home.
Travel tips:
Wear cotton when wearing sunscreen - they are less fussy and easy to throw in the wash (or even sink!) and they are good as new.
Steam the corners of the silk scarf after wearing and fold the other direction and you have a brand-new featured design from the last time.
Wear the Kerr-Chief your favorite way first, then use the back-up plan once it has a few wrinkles or sunscreen on it (i.e. wrap-around skirt first, pool cover-up second)
